Tells enough, huh? Why Rengar can't get a proper skin. He has always been a popular pick. Jhin is out for less than a year, and already has two 1.3k RP skins. All of Rengar skins are simple, they don't even have a special recall animation nor any special effects. What's the problem?
Well, SSW Rengar doesn't count as skin, it's absolutely terrible. I don't get the point of making those LCS team skins.

Championship skins do not count toward the "date champ last received a skin" marker. SSW Rengar, in terms of Riot sitting down and saying "who gets a skin now," does not exist.
That being said, Yorick's been waiting even longer than Rengar, and since they've said visual updates only put skins on hold until they're completed, he should be first in line for something new. He's not and he won't be, because Riot prefers easy money over giving all their champions and players love.

Riot makes money on everything they do. The problem is they're trying to make as much money as possible for as little effort and expense as they can get away with. And if you don't know why that's a problem, do a little research.

This clearly goes into more than just not giving certain champions skins.

Ravenhale1 votesI think this just applies to ESport skins. I was fairly certain things like Championship Zed and Victorious Maokai do count, since Riot has full decision power on whom receives those skins.
