how to make zaun unique but keep its science mad

I've scene a couple of posts recently regarding zaun and where it fits in with the lore and how it differs from piltover I've come up with a few ideas on how to make zaun unique one idea is that you could make zaun more biology based to be a foil to how piltover is mostly clock work based another way to make it more unique is too make it industrial and have piltover seem more like an average city and make daily life in zaun seem BAT SH*T INSANE what I mean by this is to have piltover be controller science and have zaun be a place where science and magic run rampant now these are just some bare bones ideas so I'd like yo hear your thoughts also constructive criticism is welcome

Zaun right now ( lorewise anyways ) is basically a libertarian paradise for scientist, entrepreneurs and visionary dreamers.

It is a place where the scientist need not be constrained by pity morality, where ideas are not restrained by the four corners of the box known as sanity, and where progress is free from the shackles of laws and regulations.

I think limiting Zaun to just a single branch or flavor of science would be going against the very essence of Zaun which is breaking limits or outright ignoring them.

While Piltover right now is more about machinery and sane & controlled science, Zaun has been shown to be very diverse.

List of Zaun's and/or Zuanites achievements:

-Reanimating the dead that necromancers can't through a combination of surgery and cybernetics implants and magic with a healthy dose of YES WE CAN AND FOR SCIENCE!!!! attitude. (Urgot)

-Creating a living blob monster using biochemical alchemy to be used as a living weapon only for the scientist involved to develop empathy for it and seeing it ~~as a child~~ their child and wanting him to have a normal life. (Zac)

-Accidentally give sentience and intelligence to a rat as well increase its size thus creating a new race in Valoran. Said giant sentient intelligent rat now wants to indulge in some SCIENCE!!! to make more of its kind. (Twitch)

If twitch succeeds i sense Skaven race incoming (or their LOL counterpart). Clan Moulder , Mad Frankenstein/mutant makers, and Clan Skyre, Mad Warlock Engineer (Imagine if Victor was a giant rat like twitch and completely insane from the science and an entire clan full of him), would fit in nicely in Zaun.

-Creates the first sentient and intelligent steam golem and instead of treating him as a slave or piece of property makes him a honorary citizen of Zaun where his free to do as he please just like all Zaunite. MAXIMUM FREEDOM UND SCIENCE!!! (Blitzcrank)

-A zaunite scientist wishes to practice his alchemical science, field test his creations and theories and earn profits both at the same time while having fun. He later accomplishes this by becoming a mercenary scientist for the noxian invasion of ionia, unleashing horrors, creating atrocities and ruining peoples lives much FUN AND SCIENCE was had in those days in fact many champions won't be in the league if it was not for him. -A person with no magic potential is granted the ability to use magic ~~made possible because of~~ FOR SCIENCE. (Twisted Fate)

-Zaunite summoner Istvaan not wanting to be bound by pity limits uses "the most forbidden of rituals - an extra-planar summoning". The summoner is never heard from again but the league gained a new champion and executioner. (Fiddlesticks).

There are still many things Zaun has done but its getting late and I am tired.

In conclusion, Zaun is a place where all sort of things can happen FOR FUN AND SCIENCE!!! for better or worse this is further reinforced by the Zaunites love for freedom and individuality, and their belief in their inalienable right "to do as they please" and more famously "~~Mundo~~ to ~~goes~~ go where he they please". Zaunites, due to the aforementioned love for individuality and freedom, are diverse and thus comes in many different flavors.

Piltover is focused on using technology to do good and perform ethical conduct. Zaun is focused on using technology to do whatever the hell you want to do.

Viktor, who hails from Zaun, is focused on improving biological organisms though mechanical improvements. Singed and Mundo on the other hand, use steroids to turn into Bane and stuff.

Piltover is based on clockwork as a symbolism to the democracy and predictability of civilized life. Zaun has laws, but is considered lawless as the political figures are easily bribed into allowing dangerous experiments.

Twitch was created when a rat drank stuff in the sewers. There is a substance produced in Zaun called "Shimmer" which is basically LSD that gives you skin that changes color, cancer, and super powers.

Well a good way to add to the crazy lore would be to have a group that kidnaps people to use as lab rats. I mean those test subjects don't come cheap.
