Honestly...why does Teemo look like he has an oddly deformed face in this "new" splash? The original Cottontail Teemo splash was personally one of the art pieces that was so iconic to League, and to see it downgraded to this splash is a real disappointment.
Memes and whatnot about the devil, I bought Cottontail Teemo because of how adorable his model and splash were. The original splash was one that would make me smile and even if outdated, it was not a horrible piece at all as it accurately depicted Teemo's appearance and had its own unique art style with the soft water colours much like that of a sweet fairy tale book illustration. This new splash looks cheaply made and the character depicted doesn't even look like Teemo anymore.
That's not even the Chinese splash either...it seems more like a hybrid between the art that we currently have and the Chinese splash art. However, there's something very odd about Teemo's face...it almost looks creepily human-like. Honestly, changing the current splash to this piece is going to completely lose the charm that Cottontail Teemo had.
Please Riot, if you really must change the Cottontail Teemo splash - do have a look at Teemo's face so it looks more accurate to his appearance. Where are the blush marks on his cheeks? I feel it's a shame to have one of League's more beautiful older pieces be replaced by something like this.
Recon Teemo had a valid excuse since his original piece was just an edited version of Teemo's first classic splash. But Cottontail Teemo had a very well made and unique splash piece, and it's depressing to see it replaced by a "Lollipoppy" version of the original.
