Lee Sin Voice Update

I'm pretty sure they did this because his voice actor did something, not because it needed an update. Though I don't know for sure so hopefully someone else can clarify better.

: Can we get more VO? Our current selection is very small & limited. Rito: Nah, you good.

: My English VA have numerous allegations against him and even lost connections to other studios. Rito: GET LEE A NEW VO ASAP!!!!!

This was more or less done because of the controversy that is surrounding voice actor Vic Mignogna, not that Riot is updating VOs again. They also updated his God Fist VO as well, replacing the actor.

With this, I expect we will see a new VO for Malzahar soon as well.

This is an absolute disgrace, it's a rushed production based on false allegations against Vic Mignogna in a attempt to destroy his career. By doing this, Riot Games are actively supporting a "cause" (#KickVic) who is trying to destroy a man's reputation, led by liars who lie in front of a Judge, and people who are actively falsifing evidence in order to destroy Vic's reputation (and on top of that, the new voice sound horrible compared to Vic)

Let's not forget that there is a Lawsuit led by Vic Mignogna against the ones who destroyed his career for defamation.

If I were in your shoes Riot Games, I would cancel the new voice "update" and leave Lee Sin's iconic voice in the game, but until then. I will no longer buy anything in League of Legends with real currency.

Guess thats the end of my RP buying, this is too suspicious. It appears that they are joining in a brigade based on zero evidence, I knew they were greedy but I didn't know they were malicious at Rito.

Even tho I don't play Lee Sin, he just sounds like Hanzo from Overwatch now. It's sucks that they had to change his voice, but I understand why. I thought for a moment they give him a Visual Update, since he needs It badly...

Love the new lines added, and given his new role in the lore really think the voice suites him better with a bit more aggro and less serene calmness

There is a lot of assuming going on here.

We dont know why riot is doing a VO update. Lee is popular and dated, and its entirely possible hes getting a full lore update as well to go with it. Its also possible vic is too busy winning his court case against those morons to do a VO update.

Id hold pitchforks until riot releases an official statement, but demand an official statement as to why.
