Can rhaast be as strong as aatrox

If they both had the same amount of flesh/ bodies, would they both be equal in power? If so does that mean even rhaast has the power to defeat xerath?

Rhaast was trapped in Noxus during a long period of time, that means that he doesnt have the experience that Aatrox has. Technically, he could become as strong as Aatrox in the future, but he is not.

I guess that he would see the bodies and say "welp, i dont know what to do with that"

Currently it looks like Aatrox is leagues above the other darkin, with him being possibly able to absorb entire armies under the right circumstances. Meanwhile Rhaast and Varus look like they have trouble absorbing 1 or 2 bodies. It's possible that Aatrox is simply much more experienced in using bodies(given that Rhaast and Varus seem to have only reawakened recently),though given that Aatroxs power burns rahter quickly through is hosts, it is also possible that Aatrox is so powerful that he needs multiple hosts, implying that he is indeed stronger than the other darkin.

They probably would be at the same level of power.

Due to Rhaast's dialogue with Aatrox, we know that they are equal in skill while the former is more into speed and the latter into strength.

Xerath is the most powerful Ascended to date. He was able to take on Nasus and Renekton at the same time, seconds after he ascends meaning he had no idea how to use the power he had before.

Now that thousands of years has passed, Xerath knows more than enough to control and use his powers.

Rhaast as he is now can't fight him. Xerath would just disintegrate the bodies around him, rendering Rhaast incapacitated.

If they had the same amount of resources (aka flesh to reap) I'd guess the battle would come down to pure skill in weapon based combat. In that case, I'd still give it to Aatrox. Aatrox was always a skilled swordsman, and although I'm sure Rhaast is skilled with his own weapon, he swings it a lot more recklessly compared to Aatrox. It might be a personality thing too, Rhaast just seems more brash and wild with his weapon. Aatrox seems closer to what I'd expect a blademaster to be like.

To answer this question we would need to know who they were before they became Ascended. What occupation and role did they play in ancient Shuirma? Renekton was a warrior who led armies and Nasus was sort of the general who made the war strategies and spearheaded shuriman culture. If Renekton wasnt a rage monster he'd propably be stronger than Nasus. Nasus might be smarter and more strategic but in war not single combat, unlike Renekton who has plenty of combat experience and even trained Azir in combat.
