I only casually played Ahri, though thematically she was one of my favorites. Her new icon, while well-drawn, is not the Ahri I know and love. She looks like a vampire, not a vixen.
I've endured all of the other questionable icon replacements, but the Ahri one has gone too far.
Well, to be fair, her lore and the myth she's taken from is a vampiric creature of sorts.
Omg what do people have against all these splash updates, they are fine. Get your 12 year old boner back in your pants and live with it.
To be fair, vampires were originally proficient in the art of seduction.
They would whisk away unsuspecting individuals in the middle of the night and feast on them.
With that being said, you're entitled to your opinion about the art.
Hers and Janna's both made me really sad
I would like to congratulate to Riot for embloy an artist that deffenetly makes the caracter totaly different from the last and well known form to a over made crapp with none maching ( in facial or entire caracter shape ). Nice jobe to ruin a caracter's stile [and I talk about Ezreal , Janna and Kayl as well] not only Ahri] !
Pff seriously I cant find out what was the purpose at these changes! Ezreal and Janna had a nice high resulated and well maching spalsh art to theyr ingame form, Kayl sould be only have a better resolutioned rework, Ahri: well I wast bodered by they change her art at first,** BUT **I GOT BODERD BY THE CRAPP THEY REPLACE IT WITH!
Seriously! why the dead colouring for? Why the forced* Firefox simbol in her energy orb, and what on the earth took 2 months to the artist make a deffenetly not better tweaking, that finaly made more like Asian *Ahri's face, but with a terrible expression (ghh she have that bitter face that she had on the very first art [I atached the art below], WHY?!), and what was the stoopid red nail polish and lips stik-ing for at this tweak?? And now they updated this version... I wonder will they do this to her ingame form too?
Couldnt they give the new Ahri art drowing task to the original artist?!
Some one tell me, if you can, what was that good for!
