Serious question about Zac.

Was his ult massively reworked partly just to create less things for developers to have to skin? Legit curious if this was part of the reasoning behind zac rework. Now they can just chroma his ult graphic instead of skinning out his different shape while ulting. I know in the past they said Zac gets less skins because they require a lot more work to make. Same with Zyra and Illaoi. Hmmm are we now in for a new less visually intense change to those champs kits?

I kinda doubt that was the reasoning behind that. Zac still has alot of models in his kit which need to get designed for new skins.

His passive healing blobs, the passive revive blobs. His ult still has to get modeled, even if it is less complex because he isn't constantly shanging forms while ulting now. And the new tether for his Q should be additional work, too. At least I imagine it that way (I am no programmer nor an model artist, I can just mae assumptions).

If it were (and I sincerely doubt it is) I think it would be the reverse- more levers to play with (how does he look like as a pool in this alternate fantasy? What will stretching strike look like?) so that it's not just overpriced chromas.
