Dear Riot. please don't pull a Singed with Soraka's lore.
For an extremely long time I have loved Soraka's lore, and have thought of of her as a very well-written and admirable character. If there's one trait I find in her, it's her compassion. It's shown in multiple ways in her short biography. Coming to Runeterra to heal and protect, she tried to counsel a grieving man through his grief, and convince him not to seek revenge. Even with the stars warning her it was dangerous, she went out to try and interfere, and did so only by healing him and scaring his opponents away without directly harming them - though at the cost of the stars effectively disowning her - surely a heavy price. Even when her sacrifice was rewarded with betrayal, Soraka apparently chose to avoid too much direct harm in successfully defending herself. Overall I see her as a kindly soul who is intelligent, but can be duped in her need to help others - a strong personality but with her greatest strength also being a weakness, I love it.
She recieved that biography over four years ago, and Warwick his. However a third champion who was strongly linked to Warwick's lore both old new and old old was not touched then, and was left in an inexcusable state of limbo for all that time until now. I'm sure not many Singed fans are altogether pleased with that, as I know I won't be when Soraka is also out of date for an extended period of time. I do realize the current dumping of lore is quite focused on Zaun, and not Ionia, surely Soraka could at the very least receive a couple of updated paragraphs to reflect the changes in WW's lore, until you expand on her at a later date. I'd very much like to see the Narrative team repeating the mistakes of the old lore team.
My thanks, A concerned summoner.
