Will we get an Updated Map of Valoran and/or Runeterra?

I love all the new lore and world building that's been done around Runeterra lately. From the latest Harrowings, to Burning Tides, and the recent Targon event. That being said, the only map of the realm we have to work with is this extremely dated map from back when the Journal of Justice, the Institute of War, and the League itself were still canon things. Taking those things into consideration, and the fact that the Shadow Isles are on the opposite side of the continent as Bilgewater, makes me wonder if we will be getting a newer and more accurate map of Valoran in the near future?

Yordle Academy of Science in Piltover makes it a lot easier for Pilties to get first hand knowledge of Yordle culture and Yordles in general.

Why does Caitlyn have yordle traps to begin with if they are naturally are non-delinquent and only become as such when isolated from society?

When you think about it... putting a cupcake on a trap and calling it a Yordle Trap would be like putting fried chicken and watermelon in a trap and calling it a "Black Trap". Kinda messed up.

Hi mage scholar here. Along with Heimerdinger Ziggs and Rumble many yordle migrated to piltover to share their technologies. The Yordle snap-trap comes from Caitlyn nickname (cupcake, because of her hat, and frills), and named yordle-trap because it has the same functions as bittersweet Lulu s W. Also its not racist, everyone love C-cup cakes.

Maybe Bandle City isn't the only city where Yordles live. I mean it's not like the factions are racist.

Well there are exceptions -Both Ionia and Demacia are openly against Noxus -Pilties and Zaunites openly hate each other Other than those most factions are too mixed to possibly be racist towards another. I.E Bilgewater and it's open to all policy and the Shadow isles where the only requirement is undeath but I don't think 'Alive' counts as a race

I swear I saw a slightly newer map that showed Bilgewater now being pretty close to the Shadow Isles the other day. The map only showed that bit though :O

But like you say,it only shows us bilgewater and the shadow isles and the arrows in the top right/left seem to point towards Ionia and Piltover,but its far from a complete map.

I've actually been doing a bit of a read through of all the old JoJ issues as of late. I tend to keep that as the real lore in my own little headcanon: Doesn't feel like it's trying too hard to be dark and gritty like current lore :P

As much as I like the old lore and the JoJ for the charm it had, I have to say that the new lore does a better job of being lore. The JoJ felt very corny and a majority of the champion interviews felt very hollow, as if it could've been anybody giving those interviews and if there was no indication of which champion was speaking I would barely be able to tell who was speaking. The writing was very stilted.

Different strokes for different folks though. I did really enjoy the mailbag of Justice sections when Summoners wrote in to ask Champions questions. The Champion replies in that felt fairly organic, especially the Summoner who asked Vladimir what absorbing blood tasted/felt like.

They most likely already have a map in rough details but don't want to release it yet because it's still susceptible to change. If that's the case, I think it's a smart move to not release a work in progress.

Looking at the targon page I think it would be cool if we had a map,where you could click on the different locations and then be redirected to a page like the targon page.

The "shadow and fortune"-page could also be reused for the shadow isles(as most of the shadow isles champions are already listed there,they'd only need to add a description of the isles and of course add elise,yorick and eve eventually).

It will probably change every few patches.

Next thing you know, Demacia is gonna be in the middle of Noxus, and the Yordles are gonna be surrounding both nations and holding them in something like a concentration camp and using some citizens from Demacia and Noxus for sexual reasons to see how it feels to have sex with a big person.
