Zoe is kinda depressing thinking about it now

Listening to her voice line she has one where she say's "I wanna have fun and chat with someone besides myself". This considered it seems like if she is only a herald to more powerful entities whoever her bosses are brush her off until she has to do her job and if that is the case her entering Runterra might be the most exciting thing she's gotten to do. Considering her personality she seems really desperate to make new friends and impress everyone because this may be the first time in a long time that she's gotten to interact with anyone. This explains why she's so thirsty for Ezreal and why whenever she interact with a female champ she wants them to be her BFF or sister so she can have someone to relate to.

Also everyone complaining she's very immature despite being as old as she is, she might still be a child by immortal standards. Like from a mortals perspective she's ancient but from an immortals she's practically still a young girl at best, that or she's manipulating her age with abilities idk lol .....

I think this is pretty spot on.

Also especially the age thing, it's a very real situation for many people. I've met kids who are 13-15 who have had life responsibilities of people twice their age due to having crappy parents. Then there's the total opposite where there are people in their 30's who can't cook a meal to save themselves from starvation or just flat out show the behavior of children such as throwing a tantrum when they don't get their way.

Maturity is much more than age.

It honestly reminds me of Amethyst from Steven Universe as well. In flashbacks she's always shown as a pre-school age persona where as in the current time line she is more of a teenager. This change was only brought on from being forced to step up her game looking after baby Steven since his mom uh, well he is his mom.

Anyway, there are worse lifes in our champion cast, I promise.

Renekton and Amumu have suffered more than Zoe can ever imagine IMO.

Amumu is literally forever alone and he is ACTUAL kid.

Renekton is one of the most tragic champions in lore too. He made 2 big sacrifices. One in moment of Ascending with Nasus, and other getting sealed with Xerath. He was always honorable, unselfish and protector for people he loves. Then these traits get rewarded with torture and madness.

Zoe is not even top 10 the most heartbreaking champions in the game. Probably not even 20.

Except for Lux, there is nothing but pure hate for her.
