I said this on Redmercy's video about him talking about zed being dead https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=khEK1CSeAio He talked about theories like this might be revealing a new champion with guns and stuff or it might be a new rival of Zed in his lore. But skip into 3:15 of the video. He said that the shadows deep within him influenced him to do it. Maybe it was the same thing here. Skip to 4:08. Redmercy said that maybe the shadows were slowly consuming him. Maybe the shadows were slowly consuming him then it might've ended by killing him. Who knows lol. So that's my own theory. I really hate Zed but this thing is really interesting.
