New icons for champions you've mastered

Well, with the new champion mastery system coming out, it's brought back an idea to my mind. You've got these perfect little champion icons that I believe fit the summoner icons perfectly. Why not give the champion icons to the players, but only on the champions they've mastered. That way there's more room for unique icons, instead of repeats, and people can show off that they know what they're doing on their champion.
