Soo it means that Pantheon somehow lead to Darkin defeat? Well i should except now they gonna rework to fifth Darkin that betray his kind and somehow turn into Aspect of Targon? [zombie-brand-clap]

Zoe was. The trickster gave Targonians the tools to imprison them. There seem to have been a sort of kinship between him (or all the Darkins) and Pantheon

There must be also a connection with the Void, he asks Vel'koz if his abominable form will be his destiny too and when killing Kai'Sa he says he's been corrupted by the Void.

The feeling I got is that Targonians and Darkin might be 2 races that not only knew eachother for a long time but could share a common ancestor race. The Void somehow affected the Darkin and Targon started a sort of inquisition against them.

Edit: The short lore describes the Darkin as defenders of Shurima against the Void before a real mess happens and they become an even greater threat to Runterra. This rises an interesting issue... he calls Kayle an Ascended, maybe the Darkin have originated by the same race of Kayle and Morgana but those 2 took different paths.
