The PROJECT map alterations

I'll cut to the chase. I would love to see the PROJECT map tweaks return. I think the PROJECT skins are some of the coolest in the game, and loved the little additions that were made to the game when the skins were in play. I don't know how intensive it is on the servers, but I don't imagine it would be too intensive, plus not too many people play with the PROJECT skins. I would just like to sustain the unique interaction that previously had, or at least bring it back in some way. I understand that RIOT may want to make another batch of skins cause a similar event, but I have faith that it is possible to perhaps lessen the impact of PROJECT to make multiple influences work together. Or just use the point system already used by the PROJECT System and whichever skin group has the most points has the influence.

The only reason I took notice is because I main Leona, and use the skin every game I play her. During the winter special I assumed the winter effects overrode the PROJECT influence, but was dismayed to discover today that not only was I wrong, but that apparently the PROJECT map changes were planned to be only a short term deal. Which is a real bummer since I took the winter sales as an opportunity to outfit my budsters with a Mecha/Robo theme. If we couldn't all be Project, we could at least be robots with little robo-minions. It's a shame that will never come to pass, but I hope RIOT can reconsider their removal of the PROJECT map affects.
