What are your favorite splashes as of 2017?

Here is a new post, this time on splashes for both skins and champions! I thought we could share our list so here I go! Also please state why you like this/these splash(es).

Galio's new base skin has gotten a lot of hate, but I think he looks amazing and is now one of my favorites:

A bit bias here but I loved the Big Bad Warwick Splash, that skin was the first skin I ever bought in League something like 6 years ago. I couldn't have been happier to see what that transformed into ;_;

I like a lot of them, but the only one I'll mention is Deep Sea Nami. I didn't particularly like it that much, especially since I think she should've been scary, but I've used it as my desktop background ever since release; the dark colors match my preferred color schemes :3

I love the nice use of dark colors, highlighted by the glow from various sources. It's full of mystery which provides a nice feeling of secrecy.

COLOOOORRRS, plain and simple. I'm not a big fan of darks. preferring the vibrant pops of reds, yellows, and greens, any reason to have an entire rainbow. This is from personal experience of I'd constantly wear so many blacks/dark blues and it felt so depressing. Art like this puts a smile on my face.

That commando Galio splash is SO SICK. Like actually. Aside from that however, i love the Project Ashe splash, cos all the blue colours just look so good together, even though blue isn't really one of my favourite colours. I also extremely love the three modern-ish Dragonslayer splashes - Xin Zhao, Pantheon, Braum. They all look really cool and scary. It is obvious they have braced the hardship of killing a dragon. Finally, I really pool party Fiora, just cos :)

Honestly the Warring Kingdoms Vi splash is one of THE best splashes to come to this game in my opinion.

Well dragon sorc zyra is def pretty sexy. I think it capitalizes on zyra' so sex appeal and not her actual power though.

Death blossom khazix just looks good to look at lol.

Assassin yi's splash is amazing. It depicts him very well as an assassin while being very good to look at, and the details are well done too.

Commando galio is pretty dope, yeah. Gatekeeper is now intimidating as well.

Favorite, however, definitely has to go to Spirit Guard Udyr. They emphasize his power so well and make him really look intimidating. Best splash ever.

For as much guff I give it for essentially being "Sun Wukong Wukong", it really is his best skin and his Splash really brings it home. If I had to imagine Wukong having an ultimate form, this would be it (Until the day he gets an Ultimate skin at least >.>)

I like how it had a bit of homage to the old splash by having him in a nearly identical pose. Just looking at this splash lets you know what kind of champ WW is.

Absolutely 110% Winter Wonderland Karma. Karma is my princess, she's so modest and pretty and kind and I love her. The splash-art really emphasized that. Her skin color is beautiful, the textures on her clothing look great, her expression is just nice to look at. The overall color palette is really amazing as well. The whole thing is just so harmonious to me and I was really happy to see the splash turn out the way it did.

They were a REALLY good job of what a group splash SHOULD be like. There is a nice even representation of each champion, alongside a nice amount of context and a slight story for each character. I was really hoping it was what we would see more group splashes to be like, unlike the Monster Hunter or RPG2 Splash, this one was done extremely well.
