They said that Galio will likely come out before the next champion. BUT they also said, that the next champion will likely come out later than usual. So I guess Galio will come during febuary or march.

Can you please link the original? Reworks usually happen about 4-6 months apart and we just had WW rework released... It seems odd they would release next one immediately.

Original post/comment/news/whatever, where Riot stated they will release Galio VGU before next champion.

Idk where the post is but I do remember reading that Galio was next to get his update and that he'd be out before the new champ

Yeah Galio is next https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/202294884-Champion-Update-Schedule and they said he'd be before the next champion, I can't seem to find the post right now either but I know it's out here somewhere.

We should also be getting the Champion Update Blog sometime later this week, so they will have all those details and such in that as well.

Well keep in mind that we have 2 teams The first team worked on Poppy, then they released Yorick roughly 9 months later(keep in mind that yorick took longer than usual because of his extra models) and if they release Galio around febuary/march,then that means that he'll come ~5-6 months after Yorick.

The second team first worked on Taric, then released Ryze 3 months later(he didn't need that much work because of his previous rework attempt) and now released Warwick ~5 1/2 months after ryze.

All in all it looks like the 2 teams are roughly at the same development stages,so if one of the 2 is close to finishing their rework, then the other one is likely close to finishing theirs as well.

about 4-6 months apart

That's more or less how long they've been working on them rather then when they are released.

Most of the recent updates have been a lot closer to each other than you think

01/25/2017 Warwick

11/10/2016 Assassin Update

9/8/2016 Yorick

7/13/2016 Ryze

5/4/2016 Mage Update

4/19/2016 Taric

1/28/2016 Shen

12/10/2015 Poppy

Only one that really has a wide space between it was Shen to Taric.

Oh wow, was poppy really 12/10/2015?? Damn I have like no time perception, feels like she was more recent.

Sukishoo1 votes

Yup, she was at the end of 2015.

It was said during a Live Stream with Ghostcrawler recently. They stated that the next new Champ may not come out until April. WW's VGU was delayed because they slotted in Ryze, and WW was ready to be released sometime in December, but it was delayed for the Holiday Break. The team working on Galio's VGU started back in September, and February/March would be about 5-6 months after the Yorick update, showing a good amount of time has been put into him already. The time gap you're familiar with is due to the pods former methods of how they approached VGU's, but they have recently stepped up their game.

Anivia < this has been an issue for over 2 weeks. Do you honestly think they care?

Galio will most likely be seen around March or so.
