Frostblade Irelia is currently Winter Wonder Irelia :'(

I'll try not to make this a terribly long post, and I don't want to come across as demeaning to anyone involved in the creation of the skin or the splash art. I feel like the overall quality of the product is fantastic, the splash artist(s) have amazing talent, so please understand this post is not meant to be critical in a way that is demeaning to anyone's talent / art style.

All this being said:

I beg you to reconsider the stylistic direction RIOT has chosen to take this skin. As stated in the title, the color, style, etc. all strikes me as a Winter Wonder skin. Please see Karma, Lulu, Malz, Graves, Ori, Sivir, or Sej. The color palette is now the same, or at the very least, far too close to the Winter Wonderland line. The style comes across as more playful / neat, with the straight blade edges, fluffy arm / belt /ankle fur, light blue / purple color palette, etc.

She used to have an imposing appearance with the deep dark blue / purpley black gradients, the golden rimmed swords with their menacing jagged edges, and the teal-esq colored ice was just aesthetically pleasing.

I think all in all, that is my biggest gripe, personally. The fact is that this skin simply does not embody the essence of, or remotely resemble the original in any way shape or form. It's literally been changed into something completely different in my opinion.

Again, I'm just one voice, but from what I've been reading I'm not the only one concerned with what FB Irelia will become.

Lastly, I would like to present an idea that may be beneficial to both current Frostblade Skin owners, and RIOT for the time and man power already invested into this skin. Keep this model with all the fluffy fur shoulders, arms, belts, boots, smooth blades, purple and light blue gradients, etc. Release the Irelia rework with an "new" Winter Wonder Skin or save it for Winter 2018, and remake a Frostblade Skin that actually is true to what the original design was. I'd even be willing to wait on it post release if her timeline is that definite and set in stone.

I know there are several posts about this already, I'm not trying to beat a dead horse, but please consider the disappointment that this skin will be to many of the current owners who have voiced as much, as opposed to what the skin used to appeal to and represent to owners. Again, I'm not saying this is a disappointment because of creative vision, or quality of the skin and splash art, but because it, in my opinion, falls short of what the skin could be when specifically analyzing it through the lens of it being an interpretation of Frostblade.

TLDR; The current remake of Frostblade Irelia fits more in line with Winter Wonder Skins. Release it as an extra skin with her Visual & Gameplay Update, or release in Winter 2018which benefits those in favor of this skin and RIOT for the time already invested, and work on another skin that actually embodies what the skin used to be in terms of presence, and aesthetic for those that owned the original. I would rather postpone the release, or release her and play with the base model (if timeline is that important) and look forward to a model that better embodies the original.
