I'm more so angry that she got yet another waifbait skin that focuses on the cutesy side of Ahri and not the one that stole souls.

What's worse is that this is a legendary skin, so we won't see another skin for a few years unless Riot turns around and says "Ahri you're a great magnet, go out there and get us more money!" next year. This means we won't get to see a skin like Void Ahri where she is an eldritch abomination WITHOUT TITS(or any special treatment ala AotFA Taric's abs window) or elderwood ahri which would take inspiration more from Hecarim than Leblanc. Something that isn't fanservice for a change.

It is quite interesting how Ahri keeps getting skins that are girly / ~~waifu~~ material and not anything related to her darker past. In lore, she used to kill men and steal souls- like, that's pretty beastly. The only skin that somewhat fits this theme is Challenger Ahri, otherwise every other skin makes her out to be some high school girl (she literally has a skin of being a high school girl too >_>) like christ man lmao.

Her entire character revolves around being a succubus. If you listened to her VO (which I'm sure you have) you would know this for a fact. It would be wrong if her skins weren't fanservice. Sexuality is a core part of what makes Ahri Ahri. Wanting to take that away is more of an insult to her character than focusing on her "cutesy side".

Also, I don't think you've listened to SG Ahri's VO (at least not in full). She goes on and on about the foolishness of falling in love. She actually gets pretty deep with this skin if you can just get past the admittedly annoying stereotypical teenage girl stuff. If anything, this skin captures her character better than her default skin.

This is why I am happy Miss Fortune didn't get the legendary skin, hopefully she won't get a cutesy legendary skin, Instead a sexy/badass legendary MF skin i've been praying for.

A lot of people are saying that it isn't that great for a Legendary skin either which is concerning. Finally get a high tier skin and have it be shit, sounds great.

lets pick two groups of the community and compare them in this aspect

people who are fans of anime = weebs

people who are fans of lets say holiday skins: holiday fans

big difference is that there are a lot more weebs in this community than holiday fans and another big difference is that they are willing to buy anything that has a slight nod to anime and such, also the fact that riot can make a skin for them whenever they want and arent restricted to specific times of the year

its all for money, dont get it twisted :/

also ahri is sadly considered flesh to half of her fanbase
