The old lore is really good for these guys there is no reason to change this I like the lore aspect of the game and love the lore events but when your taking such a cool lore such as maokai and just getting rid of pretty much all of it for no reason it makes a lot of people who really enjoy this game for the story, changing the lore really gets rid of a lot of depth and theme to these champions.

Uhm these are short lores and pretty much just expand on what we already knew. Its actually pretty likely that they'll get complete lores soon and that said lores won't be that much different from their current ones anyway.

Maokai and Elise lore are still basicaly the same as the old lore. Riot has been giving all the champion a revamp, re-imagining or some minor changes to their lore. The old lore(with the Iow) was giant pile of inconsistent junk that had many stupid plotholes and faulty logic. It had boring characters or boring characters with a edgy twist. It was bad and those who thought was good clearly didn't read it properly and those who think it had potential need to open their eyes.

Personal taste isn't an objective fact and if you don't like the lore that much you should just not read it. Shitz free, don't be a little %%%% because you're fee fee were hurt. Learn what a rework is before you come crying like a little bitch.

Again to early in the morning for this. I'll save my flames when the retard old lore people show up. You seem nice, don't be an idiot.

Could you explain the specifics of these so called "needless changes" for Maokai and Elise. I'm curious about whats got you so upset?

I thought the lore were incomplete stories that would unfold as we play league , but now i just think they are random stories with no connections or a common end

Maokai's lore has been that way for ages, since the Shadow Isles/Twisted Treeline revamp when Elise came out. His original old Lore required summoners and the League to exist (And was based on a forum RP), and that's been out of commission for a while now
