What happend to the new Irelia Splashart

In a progame there was once this Splashart of who was shown in Championselect but since then newer apeared. Does somebody know what actualy happend to it.

The real question is, what happened to the new splash art for Warick that was teased last year.

It takes a while for splashes to come out. I waited a year for Akali's current splash to replace her original, when Riot Coldburger said that Akali would get her splash changed "in about a month".
