New Morde Skins Suck

Everything except for Infernal and by extension Pentakill look crappy. Pentakill needs his guitar, and his ult should be like a Rock concert, especially with all the Pentakill branding across League. That skin does not do that theme justice. Lord Mordekaiser is pretty awful too, there's no reason why one of his most "expensive" skins should not have different particles.

It just sucks that Morde gets the shaft after the broken promise of adding custom particles after his mini-VGU that put him into his current state of jank, but that never happened. Akali got a bunch of love and care across how many skins, and Morde's four skins can't even get a little love?

Ace of Spades Morde may be a cheap skin, but it should have a golden glow particle similar to how the Arclight line looks. As it is, the dark green energy doesn't look at all appropriate for a skin that is primarily shiny gold.

Whatever, I'm just happy to see my favorite champion dating back to Season 1 get a proper rework. I just wish there was a little more effort put into the skins that I bought with real money in a time before the crafting system existed.

Sounds like they scammed all those who bought lord mordekaiser. It's absurd that they do not respect their own price standards: 975 rp skins should have different particles by their own definition

Agreed, the rework itself seems nice, but Lord needs purple VFX. No point in buying a 950 skin for 520 quality.

King needs a bigger cape, at least.

Infernal and DK are fine, and Penta is his best skin I'm, but NEEDS that ult to send him to a rock and roll stage.

I really hope they do some with Lord Morderkaiser, his VFX do not fit the skin at all.

King Morde needs a larger cape and his VFX changed to gold and maybe sparkle a little to match the theme of a King.

Dragon Knight, is alright, but I do think his VFX could do with been a bit darker and blue.

Pentakill morde looks better with a mace as hitting ppl with a guitar doesnt scream evil overlord. Infernl is amazing. Lord is my favorite as i love the evil purple gems and the spikeball mace he wields. So cool.

I don't know why they didn't make Death Realm a screaming crowd or a mosh pit or something for Pentakill, several people made the connection right away upon seeing the ability, you'd think Riot would put in the effort. Its an obvious thematic choice for that skin.

I don't know what's going on, because they used to be really good about delivering fully on old skins of reworked Champions. But the last few have felt lackluster, its like they don't even remember the prices of some of these skins. Akali got treated really well, but when Kayle and Morg had a few lack luster skins it was all "oh, they have a lot of skins." Ok, well Morde doesn't. What's the excuse now?

Don't get me wrong, I don't think the skins are bad. Overall Mordekaiser looks amazing. But a few extra details can go a long way. Its just a little disappointing, because I know Riot's skin team is capable of much more.

The swapped around the weapons too. Lord Mordekaiser was the only skin with the flanged mace, and now hes the only one without it.

Why would you give Morde's normal mace to the one skin that used a flanged energy mace, and then give flanged energy maces to the skins that used the normal mace?

It's still early on in the pre release so hopefully they'll tweak and change some particle effects before the full release

They've been doing that a bit more with skins recently, skin comes out and then gets changes

Why doesnt King of Clubs Mordekaiser have VFX changes, having a glowing green mace makes 0 sense, also not giving him a cape wtf?

They did the same thing with Morgana though, 975 Sinful skin got shafted. August even references it as a 750 on stream, so half the time they don't even remember their own skin prices.

Okay so 1. The skins visually look pretty good imo, ESPECIALLY considering what the uh..current skins look like 2. These skins are on PBE, they are unfinished. And even if for SOME REASON they don't do them, he'll probably just get the kayle treatment and get them 1 patch later.
