Why is the Cosmic Ashe splash so much cooler than the actual in-game skin?

The splash looks amazing, but the in-game doesn't match. Why is the gold basically a bright yellow? Shouldn't it be... Gold? I think the colors should fit more accordingly.

The art outdoes itself. The in game model, the hair is just white, the gold is yellow and you can't make out the face.

I mean I never liked the fact that the Arclight Yorick splash had his helmet cover most of his face with extra bits of fabric, in game model helmet is crap compared, his glowing halo doesn't glow and the golds look more yellow there too.

Its just due to them having amazing artists that do the splash showing how the skin would look other then in the style of ingame.
