Hey just take a look at the old and new cosmic skins

like the old cosmic skins were totally loved by the player base it felt everyone played them especially Cosmic-Reaver Kassadin so it looked to me that the old colours couldn't have been that bad.

when Arclight yorick came out https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/435150352602628096/476882191822094347/yorickauto.jpg i also wondered why riot would use the yellowish gold because they had used much more beautiful gold with other skins or the ascended.

I want an honest opinion do you guys really think the yellow gold looks better aka the new cosmic skins have better colours than the old ones?

and for riot can you please explain to me why you change the colour scheme of skin lines it doesn't make sense to me.

thanks and kind regards cerbari

P.S. and please answer my Nasus post :(

The 3 newest skins still follow the pattern though? They're all blueish purple with gold accents, e.g. kassadin. The only one that stands out is rakan and that's because he's gold chased with blue accents. I don't see the question tbh.

Because red is sexy.

I don't know if you ever played with any of the 4 skins before the Ashe-Lulu-Xin but, at least, Kassadins golden armor is lacking tons of shine in game, his colors die completely in game, but at least they make it back because the other pieces of the skin like animations and the clothing look really well. Riot made the new ones look more yellowish to give you the feeling that you are actually playing with a cosmic entity that is indeed shining. You don't get that feeling when you play kassadin's cosmic skin because it is so flat. I honestly don't like to see the colors like this, stopped because skins are made to look cool in game when you are playing and not when you are looking for the details that you will only check when the skins come out. That's most likely the reason why they made them brighter by using yellows instead of that de-saturated color that looked like none polished gold.

Talking about Nasus now, his neck looks really well painted but he is in a different position. He is not made to glow. He is made to reflect the sun of Shurima and give the idea that he is in the desert and his armor pieces are reflecting the sun. Cosmic skins OWN that very shiny feeling, they are cosmic, they are made of starts, galaxys, dust, energy. They are painted to literally shine anywhere! Like stars do. Nasus is an ascended, but he still is on Runeterra, so he was painted like if he was indeed reflecting sun's brightness and not irradiating his own light.
