Any connection between Kindred and the ascendeds?

One of Nasus's lines goes " between life and death lies immorality." We know that this line is referring to the ascended, but because Kindred is death, would that mean she has some say in who becomes an ascended?

I made a whole massive thread about how there was a power link between Nasus and Kindred and how Nasus calls upon the power of death that Kindred embodies and how his form actually can be inferred to be linked to the Shuriman version of Kindred and stuff, so I'd say they have something going on, but Kindred ain't linked to the Ascension ritual in any real meaningful way. If anything it probably pisses them off a little with these brash Shurimans thinking they're so cool and immortal.

And to think about it that line you quoted perfectly describes Kindreds ultimate * shifty eyes*

I doubt that. Nasus VU(and thus his new VO) was released in 2013,but work on kindred only started early in 2015.

Nasus is simply the kind of guy who talks a lot about death and immortality does kinda lie between life&death(though one could say the same about undeath)

Well as far as I'm aware there is no connection between all of the ascended, all but one.

It's not a significant thing but it is interesting but since Azir did die he encountered Kindred . While were not sure what fate he chose for sure it can easy to say he may have chose Lamb for his quick death but as well could of chose Wolf due to the circumstances of his death.

As well while he may have seen Kindred but not see them in the way we see them, if that makes sense at all. He may have seen them in different form such as the way he was told what meets you at the end of your time.

Something else that is key to note is that since he did come back as an ascended, Kindred probably does not like Azir for this since he broke the cycle of life and death. So perhaps if he is to die again, which is possible but only by the hands of an ascended I think, I believe Kindred won't offer Azir a chose but to die from Wolf.
