Yesterday I was in a game and an enemy had the new Muse Sona splash art. My immediate thought was, "I liked the old one more."
I think it would be great if Riot added a way for us to easily change the splash art of champions in the launcher instead of having to change the game files in the League directory.
I will clarify things for you to understand a bit better.
You are referring to the Chinese arts correct? Those have been chosen for NA because they are of higher quality (example: Spectral Fiddlesticks). You don't have to worry about the Chinese arts though, they aren't permanent (meaning they will get updated to the current art standards sometime in the future). Right now, the art team is focusing on the skin splash arts for previously updated champions like Sona and Garen but their main priority is on Ryze because he has a lot of skins to go through with his upcoming VGU.
I highly doubt that Riot will implement a way to change splash arts considering they will all be updated to the current standards eventually.
