Why did Braum join the League(?)
He's the nicest guy in the entire history of Valoran but he doesn't have a problem assisting in kills of the enemy adc.

Ignoring the fact that there is no League to join anymore even the nicest guys are willing to get their hands dirty to protect the innocent.

Well, in the original version of the lore nobody actually dies on the Fields. That's what the Nexus is for, and why they have to stop the match when it's destroyed. It revives "dead" champions.
Why did Syndra join the league? Why did Vel'koz join the league? Why did Yasuo join the league? None of the newer champs have anything about the league in their lore. There is no league anymore. Matches are no longer canon. All those games you played may as well be vivid dreams brought about from inhaling one too many Poro farts. They're meaningless and there isn't really any lore anymore. Just... a bunch of unconnected short stories that don't have any closure.

Another champion who never got explained why they joined the league is 
, But I have a few theroies that make alot of sense.
1: The league took her in to keep her destruction outside to a minimum, and Jinx just thought "I get to blow stuff up forever, fun!"
2: Jinx joined on her own to annoy fat hands and hat lady.
