Top 10 Most Powerful Champions [Lore]

I've made these 'Top 10 Most Powerful Champions' threads in the past, but, now, I decided to make one that is a bit prettier and also add a few new champions. I've made most of these lists on EUNE/EUW Boards, but I honestly think I'll get a bit more attention here. I am only covering champions who's lore isn't connected to the Institute of War, and I will also look at the champions in their current state.

This ancient of war is as old as the land itself. As a part of the nearly extinct race called the 'Darkin', this demon appears as a gift from the Gods, but appearance can often be missleading. He gives the losing warriors victory, but he takes away their honor. He inspires them into killing anything in their path, be it a man, woman or child. He brings with him destiny worse than death itself.

Pantheon is more than just a mere mortal. He is an entity who controls the bodies of those who are worthy. He is an Aspect of War who blesses mortals with his might. Though his mortal body has limits, his spirit can never truly die. However, even with those limits, Pantheon is a one man army.

Blessed by the Watchers themselves, Lissandra is a force to be reckoned with. Though her ice powers are nearly unmatched, she decides to manipulate her enemies into destroying themselves, leaving nothing to stand against her Frozen Crusade.

Renekton is an Ascended, which already puts this monster way above many competitors. His brute strength cannot be matched by any mortals. However, he was driven insane which puts him in a worse spot than any other Ascended. Fortunately for him, that doesn't matter in a fight against mortals or even some immortals as one slice of his weapon can end any fight.

Azir never wanted to Ascend, though he was tricked into doing so by his advisor Xerath. His power is undeniable though, as he managed to rebuild his fallen empire in a matter of seconds by only using sand. This former Emperor has his whole nation standing by his side, deffending him from whatever threat there may be.

The Ascended with the most potential of all, this abomination got his powers by tricking his former Emperor. Not much can be told about this monster. His body is chained, which keeps him from unleashing his full potential, but, if he was able to do so, he would easily overpower most of his foes. However, even with those chains, he can still overpower all who stand in his way.

Fueled by the power of Kindred itself, Nasus gets stronger by every kill. He is believed to be as old as Shurima, as old as Runeterra, and, since then, he only kept getting stronger and stronger. One hit from his 'axe' can take away one's life in a matter of moments. Tasked with guarding Shurima, he seeks revenge against Xerath and his crazed brother Renekton.

Not much is known about this creature, except for the fact that it is death itself. There are many stories about this creature, but it is no story that this creature is one of the most powerful beings known to men. Unfortunately for her, she is bound to Runeterra and there are few beings that defy her powers, which are named the undead.

This celestial dragon is one of the most powerful beings to ever exist. He forges stars, he is considered to be the center of the universe, he is definitely far beyond any previously mentioned level of power. Unfortunately for the star dragon, he is enslaved. The Targonians control him, and, until he breaks free, he will not be able to stand against one more celestial that hasn't been mentioned yet...

The most powerful being in the entire universe at the moment would have to be Bard. He can travel through dimensions, realities, worlds, he can stop time. He guards Runeterra from all threats. The thing that shows his power the most, though, is that, well, he doesn't care about certain events. He didn't find the Watchers, nor the Ascension of Xerath a threat. He knows more than any mortal does, and, is currently in a much better spot than Aurelion Sol. The reason why he is at the top of this list is mostly because Aurelion Sol is enslaved, though even if he wasn't, Bard could most likely defeat Aurelion Sol, judging by Aurelion's ego. And, that is why Bard takes the first place as the most powerful champion in the League of Legends.

Pantheon doesn't belong on the list

Xerath deserves a much higher rank

Syndra needs a place high up on the list

Veigar needs a place on the top 10 list

Aurelion should be more powerful than Bard imo

Otherwise pretty good

I'd disagree with several of your points: Pantheon might be the celestial aspect of war,but in the end his mortal shell doesn't seem that powerful compared to the other top-tier characters(I mean aurelion obliterated one of the previous pantheons with ease) And we don't know that much about the aspects so its hard to judge.

Nasus seems like one of the most overrated champs.I mean seriously,he and Renekton couldn't defeat xerath together, back when xerath had barely any control over his power,so I don't see how Nasus would be stronger than Xerath.

Bard While I have nothing against Bard being on this list,I feel like everyone assumes that Bard is an allpowerful being. The way Bard was described would make him out to be powerful,but not that powerful.He seems to be more the kind of spirit who does small things that have a great effect. For example you say he ignored Xeraths ascension,but what if he actually did something against it?What if he was the one that warned Nasus&Renekton?Or if he gave the 2 the sarcophagus?

Shen Zed and Soraka don't seem so powerful in their lores,so I dunno why they'd be honorable mentions.

Also I'd say Mordekaiser is missing here. He is a powerful necromancer who was close to conquering all of runeterra several times.No matter how often he got killed he always managed to return and now he even managed to subdue the black mist itself. (similar I'd say Chogath should be among the "non-canon"-list)

notice how everyone in this list is either a demon, a god (Ascended), or has been blessed by god-like figures, except Pantheon. In my opinion he belongs nowhere on this list, not even an honorable mention.

Syndra would likely kill Pantheon before he'd even get close. In fact, she'd likely be able to kill a majority on this list before they either got close or could do anything about it.

Also, switch Sol and Bard, and the top 3 would be accurate. Sorry, but a being that creates stars is beaten by a hobo with a flute?

(2) the darkin and ascended and the 3 demigods (volibearVolibear ornnOrnn and aniviaAnivia ). the ascended are practically gods and the darkin are more or less just evil versions. (3) the yordles and the demons and the shadow order. we all know why demons are dangerous... THEY ARE DEMONS!!! and then theres the yordles they aren't powerful usually but they have so much potential look at vieger and kennen. (kennen has lightning lightning is incredibly hot and fast so i think kenned deserves a good spot) plus they have teemo! teemo is all powerful! in his words "size doesn't mean everything" ok now onto the shadow order (order of shadows whatever) you might be surprised im putting them at soch a lovely spot but they can travel through shadows! most of them are quite weak to everyone else but kayn and zed are very well trained an they can sneak attack absolutely anyone and that is very dangerous. (4) karthus and kindred.Karthus Kindred you might argue kindred is death but they are just spirits... although they are VERY powerful! i think karthus is just as powerful aswell i mean in game he shows this! his ult strikes multiple targets at once so cant he do the same lore wise? and he pretty much dead so have fun killing him! (5) the voidspawn. (yes yes they deserve a much higher place on the list especially cho'gathChogath and vel'kozVelkoz and maybe malzaharMalzahar pretend those 2 are at number 3) the void adapts and evolves the void is eternal thats my reason why they are powerful. How is Xerath below Nasus when it took both Nasus and Renekton to not kill Xerath, but just to seal him into a tomb. And even then Renekton had to be sacrificed.

Despite all this hate, I do agree with having Bard above Aurelion Sol

Bard is a multiversal entity who's whole focus is to fix things that screw with the fabric of reality. Aurelion Sol is solely (pun not intended) of the Runeterran universe, he even mentions it and tells Bard to "Pick a dimension! You're confusing them!" The thing is though is that Bard is so powerful he doesn't really need or want to show it in the way people like Syndra or Aurelion Sol do, he just wants to do his job and fix the multiverse.

Zyra is now an immortal being that colonize and feeds on humans and can manipulate nature at her will. I think she's way more powerful than Zed or Soraka.

galio deserves a spot because he can beat any magic user and cho gath is the world eater so that may mean he can grow to much bigger than the world making him extremely powerful
