I really hope rito expands on Frelijord lore in relations to Lissandra, and "When the Watchers were defeated by ancient heroes, Lissandra did not lose faith and swore to prepare the world for their return".

Yes definitely! Theyve been holding back for quite a while BUT she will have her Lore updated with the nunu rework which is fantastic :) And I hope she will make an appearance in the upcoming Ryze cinematic
Since the darkin was last on the list of lore for 2018 there is a big chance for lore like kumungu Frejlord or something that is untouched since the big retcon
Riot has been doing pretty well with the past few lore updates, good stories have been created and bios revamped.
Nearly every region has been touched, and hopefully after the Nunu rework they will turn their gaze to the Shadow Isles. Maybe we will get a new Champion? Who knows...
SInce with AAtrox Darkin lore got reworked they lost their original appeal to me and now the only 2 things that i'm waiting for are:
Even after Aatrox's rework, the Watchers are still a thing, are a big threat residing in the void, and Lissandra is confirmed to be working for them. So yeah, I'm looking forward to rito expanding her lore, since she's one of the coolest characters. HUE.
Although I'm kinda fearing that it's boling down to Targonians vs Watchers, with both groups being able to "ascend" humans in their own ways. Targonians make aspects and ascanded, the watchers made Lissandra and the iceborn.
The darking already give a bith of depth to story that on first view feels one-dimensional, but I'm hoping for more.

I hope one day we get to play as a Watcher. I've always been really tired of companies writing off certain characters as unplayable for stuff like "They're too big" or "They're far too powerful/enigmatic/etc..."
We don't care. Just make it work.

Expecting to see the connection being made between Liss, The Watchers and The Void.
People forget, but in the new lore Nunu was born into the Frostguard (aka would have served Lissandra) before he switched over to Ashe. Makes me think.
Sad :( almost thought the new Ryze cinematic introduced the first visual for a watcher but it was actually a voidborn..
Nunu update coming, hoping to get more on her.. hype!
