About "Are all the champions in League alive in the same era, or are there different eras?"

In the recent AskRiot there was question "Are all the champions in League alive in the same era, or are there different eras?" And I don't feel like that question was answered. Like at all. Scathlocke just teased that they want to kill some champ. That's okay, but that was not the question.

The question I want to know (and the question I feel was asked) was "If the Runeterra universe has timeline are ALL of the champions present in that part of time that we call now?"

And It's really important question. Cause the answer could be really disappointing. I personally like to play imagining that champion that I meet in lane or during my match and my champion could meet in Runeterra. And if this simply not possible.. that kinda sucks.

Could any Riot answer the question that needed to be answered. Please. ty in advance :)

Amumu is the only one we have no proof of modern existance irrc.

Currently, all champions are alive in the timeline.

It's assumed that everyone is alive "right now", 10 years after the Battle at the Placidium. We can be pretty sure about that for all Noxians, Ionians and Shurimans (they're connected by the Invasion and Taliyah). Freljord has a lot of characters that have almost no lore right now, but the main characters Ashe and Sejuani are alive because of Warmother (approximately 8 years ago). Now we can connect Garen to that chain, because it's mentioned that one of his soldiers from the Dauntless Vanguard burned the Avarosan Capital (which had to happen in these last 8 years). Demacia - check. Bilgewater, Piltover and Zaun are harder to connect, but their (human) champions should be alive too. Note that the problem is only about humans, because defining "alive" would be a problem for Shadow Isles Champions, Mordekaiser or even Anivia.

Make Teemo kill Yasuo and Zoe in the lore and then kill himself. Then delete the champs from the game.

If they want to kill someone, don't do it Mortal Kombat style (aka making half the fucking roster zombies). That is my only request, to not lazily kill someone and add some crappy lore to cover it up.
