Basically the title. Are we not getting an ultimate skin this year? Patch 7.24 is supposed to be the last patch, and while it's already up on the PBE, we ain't even got so much as a teaser. Was honestly really hyped for one since Elementalist Lux and DJ Sona were so good.
Probably not, it's too late and it's not stated anywhere that ultimate skins are a yearly thing.
Also I am sincerely hoping they drop Swain next PBE patch and not make it all about an ultimate skin.
Well, we don't always have an Ultimate skin every year.
I mean, we got them in 2012, 2013, 2015 and 2016 after all. So we missed one for 2014, and now 2017. And if you want to get technincal you could say they missed them for 2009-2011 when the game first started XD but eh, they didn't even have those thoughts then probably.
It's likely they try to do them every year as they once said in their little graph post about skin percentages, that an ultimate was a 1-4% a year. Which is just ONE skin out of the other types they make that had far higher numbers. Though, that doesn't mean that there's 100% chance they are going to have one every single year.
SSG won in 2014 and we didn't get an ultimate skin... then they won this year and we didn't get an ultimate skin this year either. Hm...
I assume there isn't an ultimate skin this year is due to how many Legendary skins that have been release instead. Now I hope that with some of them having their original VOs back to do those legendary skins that Rito could have at least did a Lux VO update style to their classic skins. [slayer-jinx-unamused]
