why is piltover so full of itself

Whenever i read about piltover in the stories comics and lore etc they seem to be proud which is all well and good but sometimes a little too proud for example sometimes camille will say something a bit harsh like nobody caring about garens country after killing him and insulting vi's zaun upbringing despite her protecting piltover countless times. and it seems to me that they look down on zaun despite one zaunite individual (viktor) being responsible for the battlecast characters which potentially paved the way for viktor to create the project city in the project overdrive skins in the near future (see project katerinas splash are and look in the background and you may see what i mean). sure piltover has all the looks but that doesn't mean it's the best, most of the good scientific achievements actually come from zaun for example: dna mutations, short range time travel, advanced transhumanism( in what i assume to be a medieval /Edwardian /Victorian type time era( viktor),sentient machines that were machines to start with(also viktor) resurrecting even he most battered bodies from the dead, and even wind... magic stuff... (janna though i am not sure how) so why does piltover still thinks it's top dog despite the doing well ...not much, all i have seen are big fists, a big but still kinda badass hammer and some knife legs.You cold argue that camilles augmentations are better than viktors but to be honest they are not, viktor has managed to replace (gradually) his brain matter with techamturgry, eliminate emotions, make death rays and even has the power to take siphon pure energy form somebody and use it as a shield (this is a bit rude though). and if i am correct about the whole project universe thing he is by far the smartest person in valoran and probably will be the most powerful .I also forgot to mention he gives out these augmentations for free, he literally gave the little kid in the story a fear blocking pellet for free, sure it dissolved but it was free you don't see piltorver helping those in need without asking for a tonne of money. even rumble has more to show than piltover in some cases and his mech is just... in fact i'm not sure if it classes as a mech.

what do you all think and if there is something i am missing please tell me cus i hate being misinformed.
