Riven Finally kinda makes sense

With the updated story, Riven's lore made sense. Its more realistic, she actually loses her guilt and yasuo loses his guilt in a very neat, nice way. I also saw Riven 10 times more broken than I expected her to be, it was kinda too much but I enjoyed it as it shaped riven more into my head, understanding how badly she wanted to die of her guilt. The only thing that she misses is the breaking point, where everything turns upside down. Where she absolutely regrets fighting for noxus, what did that? The only hint we have is from the darius comics and that's it, it'd be nice if that can be explained in perhaps another story?

What I don’t think makes sense is how riven has no control over her sword even though in game she has control over it. Meanwhile yasuo has complete control over the wind and is even able to hold a shard of the sword in place like it’s the The Force or something. Also I liked the original lore better where the character had an actual goal.

Her original lore was way better, she felt guilty there too and chose exile and atonement BY HERSELF. She wandered the lands to forge her path with a clear goal and now she just...there is nothing left of her character except guilt and suicidal wishes. The Ionians portrayed in the story came off as pretty dumb, Yasuo too forgave riven in the span of a day after having murdered his friends and brother. There should have been deep conflicts and clash of feelings but everything is resolved like it was not a big issue. How can you take these character seriously after this? A tragic story like rivens or yasuos should have taken ages to resolve not to mention how their conflict was hyped up through the years. Yeah riven is extremely sorry in this story but that is all she is now. Good for her she found a family who takes in enemies as their children after having lost their sons to the noxians. Imo riot does poorly with rewritten lores and shoet stories
