Would Pyke fight against the harrowing or join it?

Just a showerthought I had, Pyke is already considered undead/supernatural of some sort. Would the creatures in the mist even attack him or just ignore him like another ghoul? Would he take up arms and fight for Bilgewater or join in on the yearly onslaught of the Harrowing?

We speculated about this a lot during Pyke's development. We have an answer, I'm curious to hear what you guys think about it before we share ours.

I feel like him and Kalista would make an interesting personality matchup

True Neutral + a pint of insanity = Pyke

Well whatever big bad controls Pyke probably wants the souls of the people on his "List". my guess is the Harrowing claiming souls means there is competition. Thus the big bad would add "the Harrowing" to Pykes list so he wouldn't have to share food.

Considering that Pyke wants to kill the ones that betrayed him (aka: Everyone) and Kalista betrayed him (according to him), i think that he would fight against everyone, specially Kalista.

I asked my brother on this, and I think his answer with another question was pretty funny. Is the Harrowing on Pyke's list? (In my opinion, it's a trick question, since I think everything is on his list.)

Neither. I don’t believe the Harrowing actually means much to Pyke.

On one hand, if Pyke were truly insane enough that he couldn’t distinguish the living from the undead, then maybe he’d attack them, too. But I don’t think he would be defending anyone or actively “against” the Harrowing.

On the other hand, then, would he continue killing people while the Harrowing was taking place? Assuming that Pyke was aware that his targets would just be consumed by the Mist instead of actually dying, I think maybe not. Having his victims preserved by the Mist, I think, might ruin the whole point of killing them.

Probably depends on the situation. At least ingame Pyke seems to have no problem teaming up with people to kill his victims,so he might team up with some undead of the harrowing to kill someone, but he might also do the opposite.
