It is very simple. The Chinese Crimson Akali Splash art was and is in every single way better than the current one that replaced it in Patch 6.8.(Western Version???) PLEASE change it back, the current one is an eyesore. It makes me

My point is (personal opinion) that neither of them fits Akali perfectly. She needs something new that is in between.
I'm sure new splashes will be made when they finish her rework so just sit tight for a few months.

The reason why I keep pressing my Akali skin suggestion is because we need an actually satisfying IN-GAME skin for her. Also, I want to see lore come out with rework/reaper skin and I feel harrowing is the time for it. (My limited brain can't think of anything else. Give me good alternatives I will be happy with them.) Time is running short (5 Months and something to harrowing) and if it doesn't happen this year it will get delayed for next year. I want to avoid that if possible.

P.S. When do we get to do the whole 20+ replies back and forward discussion? You know, the one where I tell you Death the horseman is perfect for the base of an Akali reaper skin, however, you continue to say that they should make it completely unrelated to that and not contaminate the game with lore and rip-offs from others.
Sure there will be no copyright issue, but I believe Riot is not some small time company that can't handle those.
We just need to win over the Dev team to actually want to make it.
I trust in Riot but I doubt they trust my opinion (considering how biased I am on this).
I keep spamming it to the front on recent and one of Devs has probably seen it by now but none commented.
If my thread for the skin gets enough upvotes they might decide it's actually worth the hassle. (Making my thread that long has backfired on me but I poured a lot of my feels in it so I find it hard to delete stuff. )

The change just went into effect and I can safely say that the old
crimson akali splash art was far superior. It's clear the quality of the artistry was better on the old one. Akali's outfit in the new splash art does not look like silk - it looks like low quality modern synthetic costume armor, the facial expression looks stupid, and the demon head just doesn't fit. I also greatly preferred the old action pose.
Please change it back or let us choose between them.
I don't know how anyone could like the new one better.
