If swain were to lift a darkin what would happen?

Multiple Questions here:

If swain lifts a darkin with his demon arm would the darkin be able to attempt to control him?
If the darkin were to take over swain would it gain benefits from swains pact with the raven demon? If not why not? does the raven recognise a switch in conciousness? maybe it works because the raven doesnt care?

Bonus question: is it possible for a darkin to take someone over without altering their physical form? Effectively enabling them to sneakily take over people? (similar to how lissandra used to work with the frostguard tribe before the recent lore update)

any speculation is welcome ^^

Swain would dominate the Darkin. He dominated the demon, and Darkins still have human minds, so Swain would logicaly be able to overpower a Darkin mentally. A Swain with Darkin powers would be powerfull asf tho if he gets his hands on a Darkin weapon.

I think Swain would win, he seems to be a very strong willed character like Kayn so i doubt a Darkin would be able to fully corrupt him like a much weaker individual. Plus I'm sure his demon would help him fight off any corruption, "this town ain't big enough for the two of us" western standoff style

I believe it depends on the darkin.

Since Varus and Rhaast are inexperienced in possession (they don't even know dominating a vessel is nothing but a bigger prison and are excited about domination without knowing the truth) I believe they are not that big deal for Swain.

But when it comes to Aatrox, it becomes serious for Swain. Aatrox is said to be master of domination. He has owned vessels for centuries, for that he has come to a point that he instantly dominates a vessel. Swain, even if he could protect his guard for a while, I would say he too would succumb to Aatrox eventually.

Also, it is not completely will-war, it is also power of the Ascended that overwhelms a mortal. Will plays a big role, but I wouldn't say it is the only thing.

Clarification : Lissandra doesn't work with the frostguard tribe , she is their head, she created them , and that still is with the new lore didnt change

however its the watchers she doesnt follow anymore

I have a feeling Swain plus his own current demon could overpower the darkin, unless of course the demon helped the darkin for some reason, such as to take full control...

I think the only reason a Darkins new vessel turns into this fleshy looking abnormality is because of the void corruption which inhabits within them.

Darkin can't corrupt his ghost hand. So Swain would be fine.

The Darkin corruption is like the Void, so it needs flesh to corrupt.
