Newest piece done by Artgerm (Stanley Lau). He doesn't work for Riot, but did commission work such as Yasuo's preview art and Le Blanc's official splash art, and a lot more stuff too. This is his fan art piece.

I really don't like any of them, I hate that she's these weird, seductive poses. I know that's her personality and her story, but can't she have an action shot like EVERYONE else instead of an "Oh, look how sexy I am" pose?

that boob looks so heavy for such a skinny girl. I am a fan of big boobies on the splash, but these need to be toned back like 2 cup sizes. Otherwise i really like it

The art is great but I feel I'm looking to another person because of the face, In my opinion "IF" Riot really don't know how to do it right (the face), they should try take some advices from Knockwurst (the guy that made all her splashs until Foxfire) or make the artist that did the Popstar splash (this one was ok) do the classic one too.

The thing is all this art and the new splash that was removed are good but it's important to maintain the same face, because you're going to end with a totally different character if you don't and this is sad :(

So what did people not like about the splash that Riot removed? I thought it was a pretty accurate take on Ahri. It communicates her evasiveness. It almost seems as if shes fading/moving away from you, encouraging you to chase her. The dark, mysterious background hints at the danger in pursuing her. I thought these all were pretty much pillars of Ahri's identity as a vulpine temptress.

Artgerm did much more than just preview art. He was commissioned to do posters for Janna, Ahri and Katarina as a 3-peice set, which were sold at events like PAX and were displayed at season finals (last season).

I personally do not think his art style is suitable for splash art. His art is 100% better than any league splash I know, which is why his style does not suit the theme we have going in league. He has a very distinct style if you flick through his deviantart and much of it does not give a unique look to champions, its more like super racecar track models dressed up in cosplay.

So Riot didn't end, they want to change her splash art? Oh boy... I don't think so they shail buy Stanley's arts to makes her art grait.

They sould makes her on the new art seems as what she realy is, well I don't know guys what do you thik, but I found her compleeted art just fine maching to her description (the soul eater nintails beast), and I had a kind of discurs with a guy in an other post ther he talked about her sexynes and cutenes percents, new one cuter than sexier; original one sexier than cuter. How ever I think she sould realy seems the dengerous thing (well thats may mean the "sexier-than-cuter", if I talk such in that dialoge). But the most interesting one her facial shape here by this, do we want realy lose the Asian appearence? AND THE EARS: Make those thiny little atached looks ears realy seems like they growing out of her head, not just atached to there! (why could they make her ears so nice in the "new davn"?)

I just post an old droving from me there (if I could post it well, I never posted picture befoure...), I realy tried to make her uncommon body parts realy appears her parts ( please don't judge by the drowing resolutin, I realy drew it such small picture in a thick but soft paperd drowing book [damn I realy need a -wakom-] (unfortunately the couloures down by the scanning) and also by the anatomy incorrectnes, (such her left arm, or hir long thigs) I know these mistakes well, and I only repaird digital way only the messes and deamages on the paper by Gimp). But I just laugh on Stanley, with respect tho: The 4 ears Kitsune? thats a tipical wierd mistake or fiture Japanes guys make, and the wierd three part compound scirt also not for Her tails just get through simly in a hole on the scirt.

-How ever if they didn't forget about the changing idea and they realy need to do this than do it realy on good way, and don't make the same mistakes that they did on the un-requested Janna and Ezreal arts, ( Kayl simply teryfing bad tho)! Please Riot!... item 3113
