Darkin that we've just known more about recently is kinda a sinister demonic race living within weapons waiting a "wonderful day" to take over the wielder.

  • Aaxtrox is one example of a Darkin who took over and became a free.
  • RHAAST truggles with Kayn's will to survive. Because if Kayn chooses path of the shadow, RHAAST will vanish (also known as dying).
  • Varus and The Darkin Bow. This Darkin seems to be less chaotic the others. It wants to share power with its wielder...or just has not thought of taking over yet. Through the lores we know each Darkins have unique origin or pattern. Aaxtrox possesses WAR. RHAAST possesses DEATH. The Darkin Bow possesses VENGEANCE. Three are known existing Darkins. However, what we were told as the beginning, THERE ARE 5 OF THEM, in fact. The last two maybe upcoming champions or they are already growing up with The League, through battles. There are one very suspect of potential Darkin possession: Jax. DID HE ACTUALLY CHOOSE THE LAMP AS HIS WEAPON BECAUSE HE WANTS TO PLAY FAIR WITH OPPONENTS or THE LAMP JUST CANNOT LEAVE HIM ALONE? In an older flash art of Jax, we can see a demonic shaped creature glowing out from his lamp ( http://cdn.leagueoflegends.com/game-info/1.0.15/images/champion/backdrop/bg-jax.jpg ). Could that be a hint?

we don't know yet if aatrox is the host. it appears to be that is his original body .. his sword moves on his own though

That can be the result of the Darkin part becoming COMPLETELY independent. Darkin personality and power became the owner of the body. Like RHAAST, when he took over Kayn, we no longer hear Kayn's voice. In Aaxtrox's case, he had been free long before we knew he exists.

or maybe aatrox has always had his original body lol i mean they have to come from some where before they can occupy a weapon

The lore of Aatrox is larger than we expect. He's been playing a God Role in Valoran history. He can be seen in many artifacts across Valoran. He is some kind of God Of War. Aaxtrox could be a type of ideal and personality trapped in a weird blade and was set to be found by an ape. It could even happen really long before The Runes War.

idk but rhaast sctyhe stops moving when he possessed kayne but aatrox blade keeps moving . maybe there is another darkin in the blade ? lol

Darkins are in the weapons. Beside, every Darkin seems to be different from others.

1/Aatrox's fight-style is basic and balancing sword fighting and can be very agressive if needed.

2/ Style of Rhaast (Wrath) is fully agressive and ruthless, true meaning of chaos.

3/ While Darkin Bow is focus on one thing: "KILL KILL KILL KILL KEEP ON KILLING THEM" because after every death of enemies the bow shoots faster, vengeance in a nutshell.

actually, im hoping that jax has a relation to the void aswell as the darkin race. maybe after he deafeated a darkin, his hometown, icathia, began to be consumed by the void. as well as him too be almost consumed but escape. that why he doesn't want to show his face and body because he was corrupted

Just theory: He might have defeated a Darkin in the past. But Darkins are immortal, spirits that never die. The fallen Darkin left the corpse and started possessing Jax's lamp without him knowing it. It hid in the burning flame of the lamp...waiting...that one day there would be a chance to awake and dominate the wielder once again.

We need a sexy female Darkin who was possessed by a whip-Like weapon and use magic for attacking her opponents :)
