Why not Cosmic Karma?

Isn't Karma all about being one with the universe and that kind of stuff? So why she's gotta get a skin in the line that literally wants to destroy it? I know it's nice to have contradictory skins but I still think a cosmic model and effects would have looked so much better on her.

I think it's good for champs to get some skins that contradict their base canon representation. Trying to compare Cosmic and Dark Star skins and correlate to the base skins doesn't make much sense imo.

For instance, Bloodstone Taric and Bloodstone Liss both exist. For Taric, it's a nice counter to his theme (like Dark Star Karma), but for Liss, it isn't. Just a cool skin. They aren't trying to exactly mirror the base lore in every universe. Sometimes champions will move around and get new representations, and other times it's good for Shaco to be a cosmic assassin instead of a demon jester.

I was thinking this is more like Reaper Soraka or DS Braum.

I know Kassadin was originally made to open the AU servers, but it's the same reason Kassadin is Cosmic instead of Dark Star (though Kassadin has always been a hero-type). It's also kind of the same feeling I get from Dark Star Orianna and Jarvan, especially since Orianna's skin was made after she got her lore update that made her be the real Orianna with her mind and emotions still intact. It's supposed to be a changeup from their typical thematic, yes, even though I think Cosmic might have fit Karma more.
