plzz i need an answer guys cause i really liked the new splash,if you are gonna tweak it so it represents Ahri even more that's fine but if you are gonna remove it completly plz don't cause i think it's a better piece of art.
It is better as far as artwork goes (you know, better looking artwork, effects, that stuff.) But as far as retaining the actual look of Ahri (which it didn't) people were getting very upset. I honestly think they will scrap it and make a new one, (as they should imo) even though it is a fantastic piece of art and it's beautiful, it just doesn't look enough like the ahri that we all know and love. I would hate to be the person that drew that art and then was told "Nobody likes your art, we're scrapping it" because that would suck :<

They can make an even BETTER piece of art that actually includes the features that made her, well her. In my opinion I think they need to scrap it, yes it was beautiful but it did not have the right feel, I thought that the atmosphere was too dark, her tails were too cluttered on her, and the subtleness of her foxy features annoyed me. The face was also completely different and would no longer look like the girl in all her skins. As an Ahri main, I'm very happy they listened to the majority of actual ahri players and other mains who were upset to see that the Ahri we came to love, lacked her foxiness (ears, whiskers) and closeness to the original face. Thank you Riot for taking it down because it has more potential. Please make sure if you try the splash again it also has a bell hehe <3

A good piece? No doubt. A better piece? No.
They changed Ahri far too much again. It's much better than how she looked in A New Dawn, but you can't say that the new one is better than the original other than the fact that it's HD. There was too much wrong with it to the point that it created inconsistencies with the in-game model.
Because Riot rarely ever completely throws something away I suspect they're only going to tweak it.
Bumping. Patch 4.19 is out and I've wasted life looking for an answer to this on the web -anywhere. Riot, please, communication would be nice. Why was it taken down and what are you guys doing with it? I found a Twitter post from a Rioter who said she'd look into it and I couldn't find any posts related to it since on her page. Likewise, there's a dozen rumors, theories, and guesses but nothing official so I'm taking stock in that. I love the new splash. There are also those who hate it, but for all our sakes, let us off the damn leash and tell us what's happening to it. It missed the 4.19 patch and I was really looking forward to it. This should not bother me as much as it does.

Riot, cmon, we want the god damned answers, because it seems like you just want to keep that outdated anime styled crap instead of introducing the new high quality art .Or you will tweak and give it back or draw another one???
