Feedback on the new Kayn skin from a Kayn OTP

Like most Kayn mains, I had been crossing my fingers for a new skin. I was pumped as soon as I saw news of Kayn receiving a skin, but I soon realized that it would really have to count and not disappoint since he is unlikely to receive skins very often. The Darkin transformation on Odyssey Kayn is easily the best thus far, and the assassin transformation is decent too. I would say it's about on par with the other assassin transformations, or slightly better when you consider that neat emote upon ulting.

But dear god, the base Kayn alone is making me hesitant to purchase this skin. The main offenders are the half shaved hair and the overall outfit being way too colorful. Riot needs to remember who they are appealing to when they release a skin. If other Kayn players are anything like me, they like the champion because he's a badass ninja, but that base form just makes him look like some punk teen. I would've preferred something like Blood Moon Kayn, and it's a safe bet that it would be a successful skin. Overall, I would rate the skin a mediocre 6 or 7 out of 10, but it could've been an easy 9 or 10 out of 10 if the base form was as good as the transformations.
