@Riot: Inconsistencies Between Updated Splash Art and In-game Models

Dear Riot,

With the recent deluge of updated splash art hitting Surrender @ 20, I can't help but notice how far off a lot of champions' models are from their updates splashes. Are the new splashes the direction Riot is planning on taking the champions? Will they be receiving VUs to better match their new artwork?

Some of the bigger inconsistencies I have noticed are with the following: Caitlyn Chogath (new art) Evelynn Ezreal (new art) KogMaw (new art) Tristana (new art)

I know Evelynn and Cho are due for complete visual reworks (not sure about gameplay), but their models are just so awful compared to their splash art (new cho art).

These are the few that stand out to me. Feel free to add more in the comments

They'll visually update anyone who doesn't hit the quality bar, this has been said before. These new splashes are to up the quality of the splash arts only, so the art quality for all champ's base splashes is at the quality bar Riot sets, and when this is done they can get to updating skin splashes. The new splash arts are done with the highest quality version of the champion in mind, and as such there's bound to be inconsistencies, as there's a bit of artistic license taken.

Some of these new splash arts may get thrown out when an eventual VU comes around for said champion. Depends on what the VU entails.

Also in-game models are apparently deliberately toned down in terms of detail because they're designed for their specific purpose of being played in a top down game. They do high quality sculpts for models which are then toned down for the sake of actually putting them in the game.
