Question to the (splash) art Rioters :)

I wondered why you stopped uploading the splash arts on the media page of LoL, and also why you are hiding that section (can only be accessed via google or the link), because these splash arts are so awesome and there are a lot of them that I would like to have as a wallpaper, especially Karthus, since he is my favourite champion by far. Another question would be if splash arts are available in resolution greater that 1080, for example my MS Surface Pro 3 has a resolution of 2160 x 1440, would be cool if suitable wallpapers would be available. In any case I just want to stress how awesome the work of the splash art artists is. I would love to see art spotlights of the, showing the creating process. They all just look so awesome ^^
