We dont know what race is he... but there are like 6 theories:
Jax is a Troll... because it has similar hands to 
Jax is a Darkin... because a figure that seems like 
appears in his champion page, the figure was added during the release of the Darkin.
Jax is a Human... but wears a weird suit. Part of this theory says that he was an important summoner that disappeared before he entered in the league.
Jax is a Ninja Turtle.
Jax is a Celestial Being like 
... you know, they both wear similar masks.
Jax is the real Original Baron Nashor... yes, some people said that.
Wouldn't mind if they just changed him to a Human (black) and as Yi's brother from another mother.
