With Kai'sa interaction video released, she has a line towards jinx ; "settle down sister!" now i know it can be seen as just slang and they could have no relationship with each other what so ever,

but why even put that interaction in then ? from a world perspective Jinx and Kai'sa will probably never meet each other in any point of there lives... Same goes for swain's taunt to Jinx "faces fading in the flames... It was all her fault " these characters will probably never meet.

unless... Riot is planning something including Jinx in the future regarding lore, and they are planting these hint so that they have a story to work with later on. Who knows Kai'sa might actually be Jinx's sister :P . anyway this is just my 10 cents...Feel free to tell me what you think !

To be fair we can only speculate right now. Without a story update for Kassadin we can't even imagine where he could be from. (but yeah, most likely just a slang)

The in-game interactions are entirely non-canon. They only show what would happen if they were to meet each other.

A lot of characters will probably never meet, but voice lines either explain more lore or are a joke. With kai'sa i think it is the latter and with Swain it is the former. Why kai'sa has an interaction with jinx, I don't know. It might have something to do with the creators who worked on both, or maybe it is just a random joke.

Could jinx get another comic? Maybe, she and vi have a mysterious past that could be fleshed out whenever riot wants to. From what I've learned with how lore is created, they just seem to go piece by piece when the time is right.
