They said that the shurima lores are next in lines for updates,so it wouldn't be out of question for us to get some more azir lore(though I think his personal lore will just get a bio in addition to his current one)

If I remember correctly, Azir is in a precarious position where his skill floor and skill ceiling are too closely tied. Whenever they buff him so that his skill floor isn't "trolling" at Bronze-level, his ceiling is so high that at high-MMR and LCS he is literally Pick/Ban. When they lower that ceiling, though, his low-level performance suffers. Right now I think they have decided on sticking with the latter and said he is in line for a rework to fix that issue.
