I want to discuss the visual change to Soraka's Q, and perhaps get insight on why it looks the way it currently does on PBE. It would be great if my suggestion was taken up, but I'm still interested in hearing from the Riot art team re: their reasoning and thought process. I feel that Soraka's "Q" VFX don't feel as powerful or visceral as the old Q VFX (not that they were perfect). While the actual particles are exceptionally beautiful now (go, Riot!), the visual effect doesn't seem to hold the same weight. To me, the current version of Soraka's Q on PBE could be improved by doing one or more of the following.

1. Increase the visual number of stars raining down on the target
2. Increase the size of the star particle

At present, a good example of a spell with strong, visual impact is Karma's empowered Q. I think the size and shape of her particle is stronger than Soraka's, which actually feels visually weak.

TL;DR: The old Starcall had a huge AOE impact that added to its visual strength for me as a player. The new Q is a much smaller canvas, but could still be pushed further visually.

Ok. I love Soraka, and I'm glad Riot is taking the time to iterate on her years after her release. Regardless of balance concerns, it shows a commitment to making things better! My Issue: I absolutely love raining a barrage of stars down on my enemies, and this current q doesn't make this fantasy come to any sort of completion. The cooldown is not nearly as short as I would like, nor does the particle effect leave me with this impression. Since I haven't played her on pbe, I'll neglect commenting on how I think she should be played or balanced. That leaves me to ask for MOAR STARZZ PLZ! I just think that puny star effect on her q (while pretty) should include more stars (perhaps adding stars for each rank in the skill?). With Soraka's backstory in mind, I feel that her skills should feel much more epic than the current iteration seems to be expressing. /2cents. Thanks for reading!
