@Riot: Regarding Rerecording Champion Voice Clips and Lux

Back when Elementalist Lux was released, Classic Lux had her Voice Clips updated to match the content of more recent champions. Now she has certain character interactions and more to speak about in general. You explained that because you had her voice actress coming in anyway, it wasn't a challenge to write a new set of dialogue for Lux and have her actress record all the content. There are a number of reasons why this is more convenient, mostly money and scheduling.

So my question is: Was this ultimately considered a bad decision? Since Lux's redone voice clips, I don't believe any older champions who haven't been given a VU/Rework have received this treatment despite there being many opportunities to do so. Star Guardian Ahri and Omega Squad Teemo are two examples of Legendary Skins that required the voice actor to record new content, so was there any particular reason why they, and any other champions who fall into this category, were not given redone voice clips?

To be honest, I would really like to hear more details about your voice recording process in general.

Miss Fortune and Heimer are recent examples of skins with added voice lines that I'm unsure will translate to new voice over for the base model. MF especially needs an update, her base has like 20 lines total, most of them movement lines and she still even mentions 'summoner'.

Yet they had her voice actor in for Gun Goddess, couldn't they do her base model at the same time?

Heimerdinger's VGU was in 2013. He doesn't need new voice files.

Since 2013, champions have developed many additional lines for things like Taunting specific champions, warding, beginning a match, and other things which I don't think Heimerdinger has. I don't really play him so I actually don't know the specifics, but if that is the case, I would still consider him a candidate worthy of added voice lines. The same could be said for Karma, Trundle, Sejuani, and some of the champions from around then like Nami and Vi. Even Jinx could stand to have her voice log get some more content for specific champion interactions since hers are fairly limited.

He doesn't have as expansive a VO as someone completely new, that's understood, and the match start lines are EXTREMELY new. But he does have specific taunts to champions, and his VO is pretty up to modern standards. I do not even consider him in need of vocal work, not when monstrosities like Alistar and Singed (8 lines TOTAL) exist and a whole host of older champions who don't have remotely close to the level of voice work that Heimerdinger has. Jinx is fine and I don't consider her in need of VO work either, especially since any new VO work wouldn't have the same "mindset" as the original run of the VO, so some of the files may not feel fitting.

I think they actually mentioned doing some work on MFs VO,but people didn't like it so it was scrapped.

Because people don't like new things ("new VO isn't sexy enough" "new VO isn't MF")-_- And I bet most of the people who hated her new VO were salty because she gotten an "Ultimate" skin. It seriously pisses me off that her VO STILL isn't updated.

March,April,May,June,July,August,September,October just started- 7 months still no info on getting MF new VO.

I swear if the next Ultimate skin is amazing MAN...............

Is there a source for the lines that were cut? I'd at least like to hear them for myself if possible.

Apparently, despite the fact that Riot nailed "sexy badass" in GGMF, they couldn't nail it in the base skin. I'm as confused as you are, because if you can nail it in one genre, you should be able to nail it any genre.

Idk , I change the Language to Japanese and play In Japanese they completely changed Darius and Vayne voiced when they got new Legendary skins for addition voice lines But I'm happy that they didn't change the Voice Actor for Ezreal , his voice is one of my favorite ones " sadly they changed him in English "
