Skin Reworks: What if I don't like the new skin?

I haven't' played since the Morgana rework but I just started up again and I've realized. I don't really care for the new skins, both Ghost Bride and Bewitching aren't as good as their predecessors. They aren't the skins that I purchased with my money. Which raises an interesting point. Why should I spend 10 or 20 USD on skins if the skin I'm buying can be radically altered into something i may or may not like more? It's honestly kind of unfair. When I make a purchase of a physical good like a car, I don't have the manufacturer decide to reskin it one night and all of a sudden the 2019 model I loved is replaced with something newer that I don't.

The old skins need to be preserved. OR their needs to be a buyback offered if you're going to do this. Some form of compensation to right the wrong. Or at least some consideration for people who may not like your new artistic direction on things they've all ready purchased.

Bewitching skin btw the hat is subjectively the worst thing ever... I've never seen splash art so divorced from the actual product which is saying something considering even the first skin looked nothing like the splash art. However, now she looks more like a faerie princess than a witch with that unfortunate hat. Seriously fuck that awful hat.

Yea they have the right to do a lot of stuff. Doesn't mean the service couldn't be improved by implementing something better. Or leaving the old skins.... or atleast fixing that ugly hat.
