Seriously, some of these are just hideous with the prime examples being Renegade Talon, Cottontail Teemo, and all of the new Twitch splashes. However, I will give Riot or Tencent some credit. Some of them look pretty fucking cool.
true, but remember that these are not permanent as they will get updated with new splash arts eventually (Ryze, Sivir and Annie being good examples as they have received a VU in the past, Ryze being an exception as he is planned for a VGU this year which will include a new set of splash arts)
Best to just think of all these ugly splash arts as very bad placeholder images because they'll get replaced eventually.
