Make Blood Moon Skins Blood (red) Again!

I really like the new Blood Moon skins, especially the VFX, but I do not like the colour choices for Jhin and Twisted Fate. They go too far away from the rest of the skins, akin to Victorious Sivir. I have therefore made some suggestions where I have altered the colours.

  • Green cloth is now red
  • Arm guards made purple instead of green for clarity
  • Both eyes are now red

  • Green cloth is now a purple that is different from the rest of the default colours
  • Arm guards made purple instead of green for clarity
  • Both eyes are now red
  • The belt is now red to make it stand more out and separate Jhin's torso from the rest for clarity

  • Blue cloth is now red
  • Eyes are now red, rather than blue
  • Shoulders are now slightly purple, rather than grey to fit more with the rest of the colours

  • Darker purple to ble closer to black, like originally intended:

Theses are just suggestions, and it is rather hard for me to get the colours exactly right when I do not have full access to the files, so I did what I could.

I actually prefer the original versions. Don't get me wrong, you put thought into it, I just like the blue in the original due to it kind of representing a nightsky.

I'm iffy on the jhin edit, but the TF edit looks even better IMO.

I like the edits, but something feels off with them, especially TF.

I think it's mostly because of the lines and how ornate the clothing is. It's decorative to the point where having it all red like that feels...off.

Have you tried just rotating where the colors show?

Like, where it is blue, put red, and where it was red put blue? This is just a thought since it feels like there's...TOO much red with how the clothing has different pieces to it.

Also, I think the reason Jhin has the green top is to purely make his clothes pop out more. While red IS a primary color as well as my favorite color, putting that much red (with that shade, I guess) makes him look a bit...washed out? Like, he put his clothes in the washing machine so many times that it became faded and loss its brightness.

Just my 2 cents. It may just be a case of "what I saw first" vs "what came after"

I prefer the blue,mainly because it brings some color variety into the skin-line.

Heck,I could even imagine that the battlecast line isn't continued nowadays because it is so monotone in color...
